Working with Shigemori Chisao, grandson of famous Showa-period garden designer Shigemori Mirei (friend and collaborator of Isamu Noguchi), this short captures the act of creating traditional Japanese gardens in a contemporary context. Following Chisao working on gardens by his father and grandfather to his own, the project aims to tell the story of a family of artists and a signature style of garden design.
